State-Sponsored Insanity – New York Parole Board for one.
For the life of me, I’ll never understand the left’s obsession with coddling criminals. It’s like a badge of honor at this point. The New York Post just did a deep dive into New York’s parole board, and if you weren’t already suspicious of how far gone our institutions are, buckle up.
New York’s Parole Board is a patronage mill stuffed with leftist ideologues and political has-beens who each rake in an astounding $190,000 yearly — including at least one member who married a cold-blooded killer.
A Post examination of the 16 members — whose salaries have skyrocketed 87% since 2019, even as they freed 43 cop killers in the past eight years — is almost as disturbing as their pro-criminal decisions.
Blue Cities Are Nuts
These aren’t just your run-of-the-mill bureaucrats. These are ideologues pulling down close to $200,000 a year—on our dime—while rubber-stamping early release for cop killers and violent offenders like they’re tossing Tootsie Rolls off a parade float.
One of them literally married a murderer. You read that right. Before landing her cushy seat on the board, Tana Agostini lobbied for her husband’s release. Now she sits in judgment of others just like him, cloaked in state-sanctioned authority and more than likely rubber stamping approvals like Oprah on steroids, handing out cars – except it’s “You get a parole, You get a parole!” If that’s not a conflict of interest—or plain crazy—I don’t know what is.
She used her clout as a staffer of the state Assembly committee overseeing prisons in 2013 to engineer the parole of Thomas O’Sullivan — whose three-decade prison stint for the hired 1982 murder of a Queens drug dealer included an escape and biting off part of an inmate’s nose.
This isn’t justice. It’s ideology masquerading as mercy. And it’s happening on your dollar, in plain sight, with zero accountability.
Enter Andrew Cuomo
You can thank Andrew Cuomo for most of this mess, for he is the one who installed them in the first place. The radical parole board that Cuomo practically assembled includes progressive state legislators, public defenders, and seasoned prisoner rights activists.

The real story here isn’t just the criminals walking free—it’s the institutions hellbent on playing savior to them while spitting in the face of victims and law enforcement. And it’s not limited to parole boards stacked with soft-on-crime ideologues.
Look at the judiciary. Leftist judges—especially at the federal level—have made it their mission to kneecap conservative leadership at every turn. They’ve blocked Trump’s executive orders, interfered with cabinet-level decisions, and turned the bench into a political weapon. This isn’t justice—it’s sabotage. If we don’t start calling this out for what it is—state-sponsored insanity wrapped in judicial robes—it’ll keep happening. And no, it’s not just a “New York” problem. This is the left’s blueprint for gutting law and order from the inside out, one ruling and one release at a time.
It’s A Head-Scratcher, Isn’t It?

It’s been stacked with left-wing activists for years, quietly operating under the radar—but somehow, it’s only now grabbing headlines. The mainstream media? Not exactly known for holding their own side accountable, so no shock there. But even outlets like the New York Post—one of the few willing to call out this kind of nonsense—haven’t exactly been ringing alarm bells until recently.
Maybe they’ve covered pieces of it here and there. Maybe it just didn’t get traction. But still—you have to wonder why this wasn’t front-page news a long time ago. This isn’t some brand-new development. It’s been brewing for years while everyone, including the media, seemed more interested in looking the other way.
Whatever the reason, the story’s finally out—and it’s uglier than anyone probably wants to admit.
