Investigators now say he left that home and crossed the country. Travel brought him directly to the capital. Authorities report that he carried a .357 revolver. Witness testimony says he approached uniformed Guard members without hesitation.

Warnings Were Everywhere. The Administration Ignored Them.

This administration owns every step that let him reach that sidewalk. Biden’s team created the program that waived screening standards. His advisers insisted that speed mattered more than accuracy. Their political narrative demanded a feel good story about the Afghanistan withdrawal. Reality delivered the opposite. A dangerous individual walked into the United States with official permission. A flawed process shielded him from scrutiny. A rushed system kept him invisible until the moment he pulled the trigger.

Officials had the information needed to slow the pipeline. Leaders had the authority to halt admissions until proper records were obtained. Policymakers had every opportunity to prioritize safety. They chose not to. The consequences now rest on families who deserved better.
